Arrival in India: You will arrive in India around 1 or 2 AM.  You will walk through customs and immigration (this will take awhile & you have nothing to declare), then proceed to baggage claim (grab the first roller cart you can).  Once you get your bags, as you start to walk out you will probably be asked to run your large bags through a scanner machine.  Also, while walking out, stop at and exchange bank an get about $10 worth of rupees (the cab will be about 50-100 rupees).  As you approach the exit, you will walk into a crowd of people, some of whom will ask if you need a taxi or they will ask for money.  Ignore everyone... if anyone persist, just look at them and say "no".  As you walk out of the airport doors to the roadside pickup area, find the pre-paid taxi booth on the right and say you are going to [name of hotel].  He will give you a ticket.  People will try to carry your bags, but don't let them - they just want a tip.

Travel within India:
